UNIF/X Sybase DBA Skills training courses are comprehensive and complete. You will finish the course with all the knowledge you need to perform the daily tasks of a Sybase DBA. You will also gain real-life experience as you complete projects requiring you to work with all the skills you develop - hands on!

Interactive Teaching
Work with Sybase in UNIX on your own Sun Workstation. All courses are taught in our laboratory, where you will have your own Sybase system. As the instructor moves through each day's lecture and examples, you will follow along on your own workstation - practicing each skill being demonstrated.

DBA skills for the demanding NYC market!
UNIF/X has 2 offices in NYC, so we know this market! By the end of the course, you will be able to install Sybase, build, populate, maintain & recover Sybase databases, manage Sybase data, and optimize a Sybase RDBMS using your new knowledge of Sybase internals, memory allocation, performance tuning, partitioning & segmentation, bottleneck elimination, and query optimization. All instructors have current work experience on major NYC Sybase installations, and will teach you tricks of the trade.

Two Tracks
for Programmers with 3+ years as: 1. non-UNIX DB Professionals (40 hours)
2. UNIX/Sybase Developers (30 hours)
