"When I enter the United States Congress, I will give my pledge to vote for middle class tax cuts," stated Grant Lally, Republican candidate for Congress in New York's Fifth Congressional District. "I support 15% across the board tax cuts, a $500 per child family tax credit, cutting the capital gains tax in half, and repealing Ackerman's Social Security tax."

"Hard working taxpayers have been overburdened by high taxes for too long," Lally continued. "Ackerman has taken extreme liberal positions on taxes, voting to raise taxes by over one trillion dollars in the past ten years alone, and cast the deciding vote for the largest tax increase in American history. If elected, I pledge to support tax cuts in the next Congress. Ackerman has refused to do the same."

Lally is pictured with Jack Kemp, the Republican candidate for Vice President of the United States. When in Congress Kemp co-authored Kemp / Roth, which became the largest tax cut in American history, which created more jobs than in any other time in our nation's history.

"Jack Kemp knows, as I know, the best way to create jobs and to create wealth is to cut taxes," Lally continued. "When people get to keep more of what they earn, there is increased saving, investment, and capital. Our economy is larger, with more people taking part in the American dream."

"Ackerman does not understand this," Lally continued. "Ackerman supports radically high taxes and unbalanced budgets. All those 'For Rent' signs spanning our main streets from Flushing to Smithtown can be blamed on Gary Ackerman's extremely high taxes, forcing hard working taxpayers to give more and more of their money to the federal government."

"I pledge to cut taxes for our district and for America in the next Congress," Lally continued. "I pledge that, as your Congressman, I will return economic growth to our district."
