Today Grant Lally is announcing that he has received key endorsements
in his race for United States Congress in New York's Fifth Congressional
District against Liberal/Democrat Gary Ackerman (D - Jamaica).
"I am very grateful to have the endorsement of my Chairman, Nassau County Republican Chairman Joseph Mondello. I also would like to thank Suffolk County Republican Chairman John Powell, Queens County Republican Chairman Joe DeFronzo, and New York State Conservative Party Chairman Mike Long," declared Grant Lally. "These dedicated individuals pledging their support to me so early on indicates the excitement and the energy level in our three counties to finally bring a program for lower taxes, more jobs, and economic growth for the Fifth Congressional District." "We will run the most disciplined, focused, broad based, inclusive challenger Congressional campaign in the history of New York State," Lally continues. "My opponent is someone that has served on the public payroll for the past eighteen years, sucking up perks and payraises, while raising taxes and abusing our government. This November we will tell Gary Ackerman that eighteen years of such behavior is long enough." "It is an honor to my campaign and myself to have these distinguished Chairmen endorse me," Lally concludes. The formal public campaign announcement will be held within the next month, and is expected to draw leaders from across New York and the nation. "The friendship and support of Chairman Mondello, Chairman Powell, Chairman DeFronzo, and Chairman Long will ensure that we get our message of lower taxes, more jobs, and economic growth to the voters of the Fifth Congressional District."
