UNIF/X works with IBM products including DB2 on midrange and
mainframe platforms as well as various other database systems and software on IBM
PC and RS/6000 platforms.
As today's application requirement expand to reflect new business demands,
selecting database systems technology to support these applications
presents a whole new set of challenges. Supporting mission critical applications
alone is not enough. Database systems must support new data types
such as voice, image, and video, as well as connect to and interoperate in a
heterogeneous network.
Through our involvement with IBM, UNIF/X works with customers to create
solutions that meet the requirements of today, with a vision toward
the future.
